Why is Pilates so beneficial Pre and Post Pregnancy?

Pilates is a series of physical movements for mobilising, stabilising and strengthening the entire body. Pilates focuses particularly on muscles of the stomach, back, hips and shoulders. It targets deep postural muscles, aiming to re-align and correct muscle imbalances, make movement more efficient, tone and strengthen the body, and improve entire body awareness. This can be applied specifically for pregnancy changes and post pregnancy restoration.
